These people are motivated by hate. Hatred of God's law. Hatred of their need for a Savior. Hatred for being told they're sinners. Hatred of people who are healthy, moral, and happy for being so.

What Ayn Rand called, "Hatred of the good for being the good."

I think that 'hate' and 'money' go hand-in-hand. They do hate the people they do these things to, but if it weren't for the money they probably wouldn't do those things. For them it requires legality, otherwise they would be considered monsters, which they are anyway.
