You sound like a real fan of NATO. Maybe that’s the problem. I think NATO is dirty, now. When the Soviet Union collapsed, NATO decided Russia could be the enemy so that it could live on. It welcomed Hillary Clinton’s involvement in the Ukraine for the same reason.
There is an irony in Germany pretending to defend other NATO countries using a stockpile of GDR missiles that need Russian batteries.

Why shouldn’t Biden be taken seriously about destroying that pipeline? Trump was taken seriously enough when he just joked about encouraging Russians to hack Hillary’s emails that he was impeached.

The least Biden can do is make an official statement(via Jean Pierre if necessary) but he is showing his true colors by staying mute. If we get in a war with Russia, it is Joe’s personal fault for making provocative statements. I don’t see the MSM quiz him on this. Don’t they want to know? Perhaps they already do. I don’t back Zelenski himself, but I do back the Ukrainians
in fighting to keep their homeland.
He’s their leader, so he gets the benefit of the backing.
I do not buy Russia’s reasoning for invading.

One thing that caused me serious doubt, is that there was
no way we were going to buzz the drilling rigs with drones.
We’re not going to attack rigs, so it leaves me pondering
the idea someone who would, might be behind the pipeline
sabotage.

The stress of being deployed, wondering when they will move you forward isn’t good. And then you are loading up your ordinance that is going across the border to kill others. You’ve never been in a situation like that. I am still not convinced our active duty troops are NOT in country. After we were told that about Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and for a while Libya and Syria and that lie was exposed.

That was my other guess - that Ukraine was a personal concern of yours. Your reply sounded more like a defense of NATO, however.
I don’t have a problem-one with people putting family or faith ahead of country. I would do the same.
But the Ukraine is not my country. America is. My country is being invaded and I care about that. Ukraine is fake, I believe. There are no “sides” and Putin, Zelenski and Biden are all on the same side and going to get what they want. People in Ukraine are going to die, but they don’t care. People are dying because of Biden in America, too.

We are not at war. We do not have troops, bases, vehicles,
military hospitals, casualties, aircraft, and face to face
confrontations with Russians.
We may be helping in operations, but we are not on the
ground in the Ukraine, thus we are not at war in the
theater of war.

There is a plausible deniability of us being at war with
Russia, and whether you like it or not, it is still
accurate to state we are not at war, in any sense of the
word.
I think it is. There is absolutely no way this war would have continued this long without NATO intelligence and western weapons.
NATO and other foreign officials have been in Ukraine since our 2014 coup, training and helping.
There are Americans fighting Russia in the field.
It is a proxy war and everyone knows that, including you.
