Will be interesting to see what our “deep state” is offering. It would seem counter productive to blow up Russia’s pipelines after initiating a negotiation.

Russia responded to the Saudi peace plan by delaying formalizing the referendums by 6 days and Peskov today suggested that Russia was going to finish liberating the Donbass. It sounded like that would be the end...????

All I can think of is that Russia badly wants that “new security agreement.”

I don’t think the US can afford to let this conflict stop. a major war will serve important domestic purposes.

destroying the pipeline with this going on is hard to reconcile, if there are actually serious talks going on with the US intending to wrap this up. so my guess is talks will be non-productive and matters will keep escalating.
