I doubt a huge percentage of immigrants to the U.S. are from South America. Central and South America then. I have homes in Mississippi and Florida and both are being run over with spanish speakers. Maybe other parts of the nation are different, but in the southeast it's overwhelmingly hispanics.

After 2022’s Hurricane Irma, I found about eight men cleaning a neighbor’s yard of debris. Anxious to get large pieces of roofing out of my yard, I asked if they could help.
None spoke English. :(
