Crenshaw is a creepy Deep State spook and I’d like to see him knocked off by a good candidate in a primary.

But I think “Eyepatch McCain” is needless and unwarranted (even if Tucker started it). If any man (or woman) has a disability, including of course from serving in the military, adding a direct reference to that in a derogatory nickname, especially, is IMO poor form.

From a political perspective, it is also probably counterproductive.

I disagree. It’s a name that perfectly describes him. He’s a scheister. And like McCain, he has and will use his service as a shroud to protect himself. Whenever we questioned McCain’s VOTES IN CONGRESS, we were immediately inundated with McCain’s capture by the North Vietnamese.

And it was the same with Max Cleland, etc.

I don’t care about the shrouds politicians like to use. I pay attention to words and actions.

Normally, I would agree with you. In the case of Crenshaw, I do not and it's because Crenshaw used his service connected injury to dupe everyone. He is not the candidate who campaigned. The “eyepatch McCain” or “Pirate LARP” names people call him are justified. Shame on him.

I think it’s poor form to leverage military service (and an eyepatch) just to get into office as a Republican so you can attack the people who love the country from the inside.

Disagree. He deserves the moniker. It identifies him.

Just like Donkey Chompers.

I used to think like this too. BUT remember in driving class about being dead right? You have the right of way but get T-Boned, you were dead right. It is right treat others respectfully, but when those other people hate you, being right does not help. It's karma, those people like Eyepatch McCain deserve every epithet that can be hurled at them. And Eyepatch McCain, you have to admit, perfectly sums him up.

I agree with what you wrote.

At the same time, if a former military service member embarks on a course of action that is detrimental to the country - that person has to be held accountable. A former military member can not be allowed to use that service to evoke sympathy for a current, dangerous wrong cause.

Eyepatch McCain is awesome. He deserves whatever ridicule that comes his way.
