I think she fails to see the cure here. Christians have been persecuted since their religion’s existence. Why is it so unchristian to assist people to a location of people that have already determined their lives need a source of protection and that they are the ones to do it? That’s a win/win. So why is this liberal mouthpiece trying to harm them with housing, food, and futures by leaving them in a state that is not near prepared to assist them like the one they are sending them to at no expense to the needy?

To be clear, The Venezuelans arriving in Marta’s Vineyard have passed through Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico before arriving at the US border and subsequently entering illegally. This notion that the Venezuelans are escaping communism and abject poverty is doubtless true. But the bloviatorix on the View fail to notice that these same “asylum seekers” passed through seven countries before arriving at our border, only one of which is arguably communist run.
I wonder if they would take the same dim view of DeSantis’ handling of the illegal invasion of Florida if he shipped the arrestees to say, Australia or Central Africa? Or for that matter, what if I decided to seek asylum in Switzerland from the People’s Republic of Washington. Should the Swiss be similarly shamed into accepted my refugee status?
