Trump fatigue is a very real thing. People are tired of all the drama. Not in FreeRepublic of course though...The cold truth is that if Trump runs (he will), he will lose in 2024.
DeSantis will probably win easily if he gets the nomination. He might even win Virginia and Colorado, states that are normally out of play.
