Who knows what to believe anymore amidst all the propaganda. We have a story that Medvedev is ranting about using their most powerful strategic nuclear weapons...against whom? Those are intercontinental missiles, so the implied threat is against us! That’s no small thing.
Don’t tell Biden, or he might start talking about a first strike. Come on man! Who’s really in charge here, and who’s really in charge in Russia?? I want to call the whole thing a clown show, but there won’t be any hilarity if the world blows up over this.
Why does this smell like propaganda? It make Ukraine feel better and the west—see Putin is (fill in the blank) and will soon be out of power. Then all the Russians will leave Ukraine—all of it. The war will be over and Russia will join the rest of the world and be just like us. No more wars—just a gay happy rainbow world. Then things will be peachy. People are believing the fantasy—but its not real. In truth the world is a mean place and getting meaner each day. Saying something, making cool videos, speaking it loudly, doesn’t make it true. When the mask slips away and the ugly face is seen—that’s when real social change comes—with blood and revolution (another fantasy).
