The left doesn’t care any more about the homeless than they do about illegal immigration until it presents itself on their doorstep.

Liberalism is a mental illness. You elect mentally ill people as your representatives, you’re going to wind up with mentally ill people running loose on the streets.

Yet again, the politicians and unelected bureaucrats like the one in the video who has "only been in office for a year-and-a-half!" have failed ... miserably so ... and their empty words fall on increasingly angry ears. It's a deliberate choice of those elected (or, as with most all bureaucrats, appointed by a self-serving politician) to place the "rights" of the "un-housed" (a disgusting excuse of a term if I ever heard one!) over the basic societal needs of responsible, respectable citizens (most of whom remain breathtakingly dumb enough to keep electing these ego-driven, self-serving politicians to positions of power over them.)

I think the left kinda enjoys seeing small business owners suffer at the hands of the “downtrodden.” It scratches deep itches related to social justice and sticking it to the Man. So they’re fine with letting it continue.
