However, a senior in college should know better than to venture out in Darktown Baton Rouge at 2:00 AM in the early morning. Not smart. This is a regular predictable occurrence in Darktown. It is not unusual. Bad things happen in Darktown 24 hours per day.
I told him we’ve been through major periods of upheaval in our history and what they generally signify is a change in political eras. The Civil War. The Great Depression.
I told him the worst has only begun. But we’ll get through it, and the America that comes out of the other side of this bizarre period we’re going through is more likely to be a revivalist America than an AOC-Bernie Sanders Woke Soviet America because “there are too many people like us who won’t have this kind of thing.”
He agreed, though he said he was still terrified.
And he should be. Of course he should. The Great Upheaval will bring us to that next era, which will either give us Woke Soviet America or Revivalist America

Yep, and the mayor of Jackson, Mississippi (which has worse murder numbers than New Orleans or Baton Rouge, but doesn't report them for comparison) recently said something that confirms it: He blamed the city's various and serious problems on "white flight" *and* on the subsequent flight of middle-class blacks from the city.
It was astounding how fast Detroit crumbled after the 1967 upheaval. I was in college near there and the fall of the city from 1967 to 1972 was like a dystopian motion picture. It stunned me and more than Viet Nam seemed to be the transfigurative moment from the confident, highly motivated, positive , patriotic American culture that had emerged from WW2 to the dark, declinist, dysfunctional America we now see before us every day.
So sad. I was born there and went to LSU. Left there in the 70,s when it was still a nice place to live. Only go back now to visit family and friends. Most have moved away due to high threat level of feral young black gangs. It has become New Orleans north.
This is the “Curley Effect” in operation.
Dems take over and destroy the city to encourage whites to move out. Then the city (Detroit, for example) goes into a death spiral getting worse and worse but... constantly electing the criminal morons who loot and destroy the city even more.
Then they demand federal funds to bailout because ‘racism!’ is the problem and they’re just about to turn the corner and bring it back to the good old days.

Only way to really solve the problem is a limited nuclear exchange with Russia. Take out a dozen major Dem run cities and we’ll have a Republican president for the next fifty years.

I was coming back from a 30 leave (from Texas back to Homestead) and stopped off at a hotel in BR off of I-10.
I remember it because it was the last Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and I can’t remember how/when I learned of this, but I heard that either the day of the Johnny Carson show, or the next day, that there was a shootout at a college football game there. I was so glad I made it out without getting shot :P

White People have playrd a major role in the election of every Democrat holding political Office. Those Democrats in political Office just did not fall in there from outer space. They were put there by the votes of oodles amd oodles of White People. White People enjoy getting their heads busted, robbed, raped, shot. If they did not enjoy it, they would put a stop to it. They would not vote for Democrats who advocate for the afore mentioned things.

As evidenced by Marth’s Vineyard, those white people are willing to allow 2 million white people to die in a day in the states that they foment illegl immigration.
However, those white people are more than willing to use the national guard to kill every illegal immigrant if those white people’s interests are threatened in the least.

You are right about that. The Democrats are for the little man. And are going to do everything in their power to keep him a little man. White union workers love Democrats. But Democrats do not love White union workers. But the White union workers are too stupid to know this.
