No. These task forces are still doing their jobs. Just read the online official reports of these combined operations - feds, State Police, local police, sheriff’s departments, ATF, DEA, and RICO task forces, etc.
Lots of them ongoing, often for years before making the comprehensive raids. Hit them all at the same time and roll up most of an organization and their guns, drugs, etc.
Lots of good law enforcement people still doing their jobs. There’s lot of leftist rot at DOJ and FBI upper echelons.

You could both be right. Gas prices went up under Biden, but have fallen some before the midterms. There are even reports on new construction on the border wall, likewise before the midterms. We hear of an FBI focus on traditional crime now, as the midterms approach. Recently, Biden signed a large oil lease. Of course, this took place after having cancelled numerous oil leases. Proximity to midterms seems to be the reason for the apparent turn around on policy.
I applaud all good works, but let’s not be fooled, it’s about the midterm elections.
I do feel sympathy for those remaining FBI agents who have integrity.
