Betsy Johnson is a Democrat, running as an Independent. She is all for more taxes and big government, just like Kotex. Her claim to being independent is that she is pro-gun and protects the timber industry (which has made her rich). She also was on the Planned Parenthood board of directors for a while. Oregon has a lot of voters signed up as independents. And when Oregon voted on gay marriage, 2/3s voted against it.
Okay, so is she playing spoiler, or does she legitimately have a chance of winning?

Agree. Johnson was my “representative”...like spitting in the wind...”representative” NOT. But, in her 20 years in the legislature, she was a thorn in the side of the Dems. I know of several people that will be voting for her. Mad at the Dems for disastrous one party rule and the state of the state. But, can’t bring themselves to vote for a Republican.
Oregon has more registered as Independent or Non-Affiliated than Dems or Republicans. Hope is Johnson will draw more Dems and give it to Drazan. I have signs out and have given money. There is always hope.
