So does this mean Fox News will start having interviews with mega-MAGA STAR Kari Lake?

Maybe I’m wrong, but does it seem they’ve been doing their best to ignore her up to now? At least Tucker recognizes a STAR when he sees one.

She may be the best conservative communicator since Reagan in his heyday of the 60s and 70s, when he could still speak off the cuff and demolished powerhouses like Bobby Kennedy and WF Buckley in public debates.

No wonder her opponent doesn’t want to debate!

I was very impressed by Kari Lake. No wonder the left is trying to demonize her. She runs circles around morons like Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, AOC, and Mazie Hirano.

I’m interested in her comment of ‘our Article 1, section 10, Authority’ I can not find it.

The Arizona constitution has only 2 sections in its article 1. And the US constitution on its Article 1, section 10 refers to ‘Powers Denied the States’ which is not it.

If some one knows, which section is Mr. Lake referring to when taking about defending Arizona’s border?

I’m impressed with her too. She knows the issues, can articulate her positions clearly and effectively, and has the kind of calm, unflappable personality few politicians have. She is a star. I’m sure she is going to rise quickly in Republican ranks to the very top. Arizona, vote for her and get her in office!

I only wish Pennsylvania had such a candidate running for office.

"No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay."

Article I, Section 10 - More than likely she is referring to the underlined passage above

You’re correct about the U.S. Constitution. Article IV, section 4 says the Federal government must protect each state against Invasion and against domestic violence.

So, it would be more accurate to say Biden and his cronies are not fulfilling their responsibility under Article IV with regard to protecting Arizona against invasion.

However, Lake is correct here: Section 10 of Article 1 reads in part that states can’t “engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”

Thanks! I see it it now.

“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, ..., keep Troops, or ... in time of Peace, ... unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

Now I understand that by claiming Arizona is being invaded Lake will put Troops in the border (which States are not normally allowed to do)

By then she’d also probably be ready for top billing.

“Reagan in his heyday of the 60s and 70s, when he could still speak off the cuff and demolished powerhouses like Bobby Kennedy and WF Buckley in public debates.”

Nonsense. RR was sharp as a tack throughout his entire political career - he famously suffered mental decline after leaving office - but that fact needs to be put in careful perspective, given that it was unprecedented for a former President to share such information with the public.

Many millions of people suffer mental decline in their old age and we never hear about it. The Reagan family believed that sharing that information would help bring needed attention to an issue and remove some of the shame and social stigma.

Don’t know how old you are, but it sounds like you re not familiar with his ‘84 debates with Mondale

In any case, compare YouTube’s of his debates with RFK and WFB in the 60s and 70s, with his unscripted remarks at any time after the shooting in 1981, and you’ll see he was not the same guy.
