Americans need to get positively medieval. Like, Viking harsh. Zero tolerance and merciless persecution of crime, addicts in tents, etc. Until we have just such an epiphany, we're swirling the toilet with no hope.
In 25 years or so, Americans will look back on these days as "the good old days."
