It is not “smart” that distinguishes Joe Stolen or “Que mala” Harris. Chosen for their very vulnerabilities, Joe can be counted upon to mouth the words so carefully selected for him, at least most of the time, as long as he does not go off script. The Vice President (in name only, it might be noted) is such a terrible alternative that none dare remove Joe short of him dropping dead and falling to the floor beyond resuscitation on live TV.
Adolf Hitler could at least hold the attention of the German people through a fiery declamation, and have them shouting in unison. Joe just does not have that kind of charisma or stamina. So a backdrop that resembles the “Twilight of the Gods” is used to set the stage and tone of the delivery of this scornful and frankly antagonist challenge to at least half of the American people. His supporters, of course, saw no such charade being played out, and some even thought this appearance was a high point in Joe’s occupancy of the Oval Office so far.
