That was before the supreme court screwed us and made abortion a top issue (when it should not have even been on the radar). Young women who would have otherwise voted for our candidates (because of school loans, woke politics or fiscal issues) are going to be forced to vote for Democrats now!
Retirement is - “honorable”.
Just getting out before the roof caves in. Assured of a satisfactory pension even if they NEVER lift a finger the rest of their lives. And they may still carve out a new career as “elder statesmen”, harumphing and pontificating on things they would never address while still in office.
