Because they, inside the government, made a concerted effort at a failed attempt of treason to overthrow the US government and a sitting President, he has the evidence to prove it.
Hence the FBI break in. The break in was to retrieve the evidence, then destroy it.
They know if he is elected again he has a mighty force of very loyal supporters behind him to back him up.

It's sweet that you posted your opinion, but what has happened to FR is that people don't read the linked article and comment upon its specifics. They just comment on the headline, and often the headline does not lead in the direction of the poster's personal opinion.
