Any sincere and responsible mayor would have started this years ago. The voters keep electing Democrats, who have no intention of changing anything for the better in terms of safety and a profitable local economy. They don’t ‘do’ capitalism if they can help it. What they will do is pander , pretend and patronize, since that impresses the biggest donors.
