These three are modern-day heroes but I wouldn't compare them to Ali he was totally different!

Now it’s virtually impossible to find anyone who speaks out in favor of the Vietnam War being fought, The Big Media propaganda machine, once headed by communist traitor Walter Cronkite, has been remarkably effective.

Well, first of all I,unlike some, don't see Cassius Clay as any kind of hero.I see him as a filthy, worthless draft dodging punk whose last years were rather fitting.

Ali was talented, but I do not and have never cared for his trash talk.
He is the progenitor of the crap that we see today in sports. I hate that aspect of Ali.
I appreciated Joe Frazier’s approach.

In the rematch a year and three months later, Liston went down in the first round from what some referred to as a
"phantom punch." It appeared that Liston was able to get up, but chose not to.
Clay (then known as Muhammad Ali) was awarded a first-round KO.

Ali opposed the Vietnam war and refused the draft, but unlike a lot of pasty-faced hippies did not flee to Canada. I could disagree with him but still respect him.
