I still suspect this was originally targeted as a weight loss drug or appetite suppressor.
As anyone can tell you who has had it, its very easy to loose 10 lbs very fast w Covid.
This would also explain why it seems to be very hard on diabetics as their diet needs to be carefully controlled.
Actually I did lose 10 lbs when I had COVID, I just wasn’t hungry. I also coughed so much I had nice six pack abs!
