Donald Trump Jr. is looking to change the game and improve the playing field for conservative news sites.
“I am tired of the leftist propaganda they call “news” that’s being forced onto our phones. That’s why I just launched a new mobile app that delivers mainstream news WITHOUT mainstream bias,” said Trump Jr. in an email for the MxM News App.
According to the app’s website, MxM News delivers curated news that cut through the censorship, mainstream bias, and institutional dominance that has left society divided and misinformed.
The platform allows readers to access the news that matters, particularly when it is being ignored. Updated minute-by-minute with news coverage from a diversity of publications and topics, readers have a one stop to be informed and stay informed.

That’s what I get from FreeRepublic. Admins, perhaps there is an opportunity to collaborate in this venture?
I just now downloaded the app for android phone, and gave my alias email address (a free one at mail.com) to ‘sign up’. It looks pretty good, with choice of which news categories to show.
Scanning well written headlines is sometimes enough for me to get the jist of it, but I like this feature...when you ‘long press’ on a news headline it gives you a short summary of the article in one or two sentences. Great
FR is all the daily news I can stand.
My phone plugs into the wall, it does not do “Apps”.
looks good. But many of the articles I did see on FR
This has been out for quite awhile. Had to turn off notifications on my phone. I don’t need every story sent to me
FR misses a lot of the news.
I like the balance of graphic and text...there is a small photo to give some context, with a truncated headline to the right of it, so then I “long press” on it and read the very short summary...a good time saver! I’m not sure, but the headline truncation may be because of the large text setting I use on my phone.
I’m not seeing any ads on the MxM News site itself, just the list of articles.
Clicking an article sends you to the site that is the source of the article, so there will be the regular ads on those sites.
RE: Notifications
Thanks for the heads up. I went to ‘manage notifications’ on the app and turned them off.
Also, I checked out their usage of data and it seemed acceptable to me. Many apps I simply will not use because of their data sharing with advertisers, or access to files etc.
I’m new to android, but I like the feature in the app store that gives information about data sharing...before I download it.
Interesting, more viable than truth social
Fyi, you don’t have to give an email address, at the bottom of the sign up page there is an option to continue as a guest.
I will try it out, Only had google news on mobile other than accessing freerepublic on the browser. Tired of Google pumping me junk news that was 90% click bait.
I’m glad Don jr. is able to assist with the new website. It is unfortunate that former computer tech Brad Parscale had some sort of breakdown and is no longer a part of anything Trump related. There are probably many others ready to help who are just as capable.
...and I am extremely wary of any app that wants access to all of the files on my phone. I suppose some folk don’t pay attention to that or don’t care and give away all of their data.
I use Truth Social primarily to read Trump’s posts, which I enjoy. I sometimes read a little from only a few others.
I don’t use the ‘Home’ feed that consists of the latest posts from those I’ve followed, but go directly to Trump’s page.
It’s just for reading...I don’t post or comment.
Just installed and signed up. Love it so far.
What happened with Truth Social? Was’t that suppose to be the solution?
Or he could have just sent a few mil to FR and said job well done haha!
I hate extra apps on my phone.
It is a news aggragator. These have been around for a long time. They work using the old RSS/atom feed protocol from all the different sources. Which means... Anyone can do the same personal and local without needing a site like this as a third party. Just set up RSS feeds from the sites you trust on your own device.
