Check it out. My opinion is not a studied one, but they continually show scenes from all corners of the country. I could watch weather all day.....shoulda’ been a meteorologist.
The only thing I can say about the Atlantic storms going above the Greater Antilles and the storms that hit the islands and then the Gulf of Mexico is:
Atlantic hurricanes can often turn North and even Northeast, avoiding contact with the mainland USA, versus Gulf hurricanes, which are almost guaranteed to hit the US or Northern Mexico.
I hope we can avoid all Gulf hurricanes. Technically, we had 3 tropical storms hit already. Best hope, although almost impossible to be some.
