The long-running feud between former President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has been simmering for years, but it is starting to reach a boil.
Not only have the midterm primary results been decidedly in Trump's favor vs. McConnell candidates, but now Trump wants "a new Republican leader in the Senate to be picked immediately," he wrote in a pointed Save America PAC statement posted Wednesday to Truth Social.
"The Democrats have Mitch McConnell and his lovely wife, Elaine 'Coco' Chao, over a barrel," the statement began. "He and she will never be prosecuted, as per the last paragraphs of this story, as long as he continues to give the radical left the trillions and trillions of dollars that they constantly demand."
Trump has long rebuked McConnell's weakness in standing up to Senate Democrats' spending and legislative agenda; but with the midterms just a few months away, Trump is now calling for new Republican leadership in the Senate.
"He was afraid to use the 'debt ceiling card' in order to stop the most expensive waste of money in our country's history, to be spent on the Green New Deal, which will only cause one thing, a Depression," Trump's statement trashing McConnell continued. "These expenditures are something our country can never recover from.
"Mitch McConnell is not an opposition leader. He is a pawn for the Democrats to get whatever they want. He is afraid of them, and will not do what has to be done. A new Republican Leader in the Senate should be picked immediately!"

There are many Senators that are 100% qualified and capable of being an effective attack, GOP leader in the Senate. We, us, Pubbies need a non-stop fighter not a “WHIMP” leading the pack to victory!!!

The GOP Senate protected Joe, James, and Hunter Biden for 1,460 days.
The Dems Jan 6th committee has issued about 200 Subpoenas.
GOP Senate didn’t seek to have one subpoena enforced. They actually talked about issuing one for a Partner of Hunter’s - and Schumer had a fit - and they immediately changed it to the name of a company, rather than an individual, and then they postponed Voting, and it went nowhere.
At the 12th hour, they requested Hunter Biden records from Govt agencies and most of them did not comply.

That means Trump's very public demand to replace him is going to get ignored, which helps neither Trump nor the GOP in general.
It does help the Democrats, though.
He can't. And McConnell knows it. Wrong fight at the wrong time.
I willing to bet that President Trump has more information on Mitch than what we know.

On the other hand, if it’s not addressed, we’re right back to Republicans torpedoing Trump’s wall, and Republicans going on Subday shows to oppose Trump legislation so they can deny him a Victory.
The (elected) Republicans only enthusiasm was forever investigating Trump.
When it ended, they defended Mueller and Comey.
243 out of 250 never say Hunter’s name - every when legislation (like Guns) makes obvious parallels.
Biden went out and screamed about Guns - but no one pointed out his son lied on Federal Forms and then was reckless with a gun.
He screamed about white privilege, while his two kids spend 300 days a year in rehab at 50.
He told coal miners to learn how to code, but he didn’t give that advice to his Son.
Biden went out and told the News Media (falsely) that he gave every American an $8,000 check. He said, $8,000 - that’s a lot of money - when his Crackhead Son was scoring $500,000 deals, for doing nothing. But, they didn’t say Hunter’s name.
When Biden wanted 87,000 new IRS agents no one brought up Hunter and Jim Biden’s tax issues.
