Is there anything wrong with “reimagining policing”? Not that I can see. Nope. It’s turning out real well.
Why aren’t the social workers in there mixing it up with the carjackers and talking sense to them? Some counseling and therapy by social workers should get them to renounce their evil ways.
no more stickshifts...
Here’s the theological reason for not enforcing laws. A law implies that a decision has been made about what is good and what is evil. Since all things are relative then there can’t be any good or evil. One man’s good is another man’s evil. To say that something is evil implies some higher power, like God. Since there can’t be a God and all things are relative, who are we to say that any act, no matter what we think of it, is good or evil? Therefore, we can’t imprison people just because we don’t like what they do. This was exactly the reason for letting murderers serving life sentences out of weekend furlough.
This guy, killing people while out on furlough cost the Democrats a presidential election.

As we transition from ICE to EV cars, will the pace of carjackings go up or down?
Either car owners will remotely shut off their EV after being jacked, or the jackers will remotely jack it first.
Will they be known as EVjackers?
The solution is obvious. Chicago must call all future carjackings “involuntary car lendings” instead. This will reduce the carjacking stats to zero, by golly.
Does anyone care to speculate how many felonies were reported in Chicago so far in 2022, how many actual arrests were made and finally how many convictions have occurred?
You vote what you get for.
