Supply chain issues are a lot of the problem - inflated costs for goods and shipping that can’t easily be passed on to customers. This is especially hard on retail resellers who do not manufacture their own products - margins are thin already but COVID-era shipping and Bidenflation have simply rendered their business models unsustainable. A lot of long-time stores - even ones with loyal customers - are going to close soon because there are barely any profits to be made.

I quit the lower end stores for material things, like Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, and more. I’ll do without or just wear rags. (I’ll be in fashion somewhere). I have clothes that are 15 years old and still better than what’s out there now.

I will not shop the ‘higher’ end stores at all. Same crap. Malls are completely out!
Online sucks, period.
