“Oh. I was going for the tenets of Christianity.”

This is for readers, not necessarily for you. I find debating the regular Free Republic hateful, ignorant anticatholic Free Republic commenters to be impossibly closed minded and illogical as to defy debate.

However, this is an article about the rosary. And I do expect the FR hate Catholic to be represented here. The hatred toward the Blessed Mother is particularly strong here.

No need to respond with illogical, uninformed Catholic hatred

I wont engage any further wasting my time.

Any article on the rosary is expected to draw it out.

Jesus founded the Catholic Church.

“Presbyterianism originated in the 16th-century Protestant Reformation and the teachings of John Calvin of Switzerlan d and John Knox of Scotland.”
Encycl. Of Cleveland history

Here’s encyclopedia Britannica

“As a branch of Christianity, Roman Catholicism can be traced to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ in Roman-occupied Jewish Palestine about 30 CE.“

“ The Reformation (alternatively named the Protestant Reformation or the European Reformation)[1] was a major movement within Western Christianity in 16th-century Europe that posed a religious and political challenge to the Catholic Church”
wiki

Also from Britannica:
Lutheranism as a religious movement originated in the early 16th century Holy Roman Empire as an attempt to reform the Roman Catholic Church...
