Also, the Catholic rosary began as a way for illiterate peasants to say the equivalent of 150 psalms. So you could also recite the psalms and you wouldn’t be too far off the mark either.

Not that I’m running down the Dominican Rosary mind you—I say it fairly often—but there are a lot of variations on the theme.
