Anybody old enough to remember when Senators were appointed by their State Legislature, before that damn 17th Amendment changed them to popularly elected?

When Senators looked our for their State’s interests? And outside money raised lots of eyebrows?

You people are stuck on stupid. Are you clowns on the SOROS payroll?

Yea, appointing glad handing good ol boys from their good ol boy network of highest corporate donors was way better than popularly elected by the people.

Explain how having State Legislators appoint their good'ol boys to represent THEM, not you is better than now...

Go ahead explain it.
