Your suggestion of everyday opposition is certainly better than a bloody war. The Left is already doing what you suggest (professor loses chance at tenure if conservative, person loses job or promotion because they didn’t support BLM, student is shamed and has false revenge porn circulated for standing up to a Leftist, brilliant journalist has no chance at top dollar job and has to hope for small time conservative place that hopes for donations).
