Call me unconvinced. Trump or nothing. If the GOPe manages to sideline Trump I will never vote for whatever meat-puppet they put forward. The GOPe can FOAD.

Exactly. Maybe DeSantis can step up, but outside of that, the GOP has nothing.

Right.

The others are pulled Right by Trump.

Gee, if you had someone actually willing to fight the Swamp - how long before they come up with “Baggage” on them?

There is an entire cottage Industry of fakes and plants that attack Trump 24 x 7

Trump brings much more than ideas to a second term and no one else can duplicate them: First, he’s a savvy businessman who can negotiate win-win deals to keep the peace and who can hit the ground running. Second, he has been investigated up the wazoo so each charge against him becomes weaker and weaker while he has no illusions about how the Rinos, Dems and press will treat him. Third, he would be an automatic lame duck who doesn’t need to raise reelection funds and doesn’t care if Republican donors demand their pet issues like unlimited immigration, international agreements which benefit their economic interests or being a “gentleman” who’s above the dirty political fray.
