A parallel already exists in regards to how some adversaries must be dealt with.
Citing Hercules from Greek mythology, the giant Antaeus, with almost godlike powers, was supposed to be neutralized by combat with Hercules.
Hercules first picked up the giant Antaeus, and slammed him to the ground, a move that would normally greatly weaken the foe. But because Antaeus was the offspring of the earth goddess, each time he was slammed to the ground, he arose a great magnitude increased in strength. When Hercules realized this strategy did not, could not work, he seized the giant and held him away from contact with the earth, and the giant’s strength swiftly ebbed away, until Hercules could finally throttle Antaeus, and thus defeat him.
The struggle between President Trump and the Deep State may have to end the same way.

I know of some (99% women) who were "tired" of Trump before the 2020 election. There are some Republicans who never liked Trump to begin with of course. (a pox on them!)
I also know several Republicans who like Trump, but... they prefer to see DeSantis run in 2024 because of all the "Trump drama". They say if Trump is the 2024 candidate, they will support him though.
I'm still with Trump. Hope DeSantis runs and wins later.
