Agreed, well said. And in this case, it’s been troubling that some will criticize someone, for NOT having had some instant public reaction to what happened.
DeSantis needs to create a rapid reaction force in the Florida Highway patrol and possibly National Guard (although they can be federalized) to protect Mar-a-Lago next time the feds send their invading force.
Face it, DeSantis initially had a very weak response to the illegal raid that is indefensible. I’m glad that DeSanis’ focus group results finally forced of him to say something definitive and forceful about the FBI’s totalitarian tactics.
This will end only when a state governor calls out his troops to arrest FBI agents raiding citizens or seizing phones of elected officials.

I am not the only person who noticed. Sundance has also noticed the silence of DeSantis.
A single tweet and then 5 days of NOTHING. That is a damned limp-wristed response. I am not impressed.
I guess it would be easy to trash DeSantis if he had no actions to consider, and only talked. But he’s pretty much DONE everything right as governor, and that can’t be disregarded.

Well, he has to tread carefully and consider his options. First off, he’s campaigning in another state for another candidate. He would need to coordinate messaging with that campaign. Second, he might also want to coordinate with Trump.
Third, as governor, he has to examine his options regarding resistance to Fedzilla. They could go after him personally, or they could go after Florida. For example, start interfering with flights to Florida: “bad weather,” “air traffic control problems”, etc.
Good, that means he is wise.
Governors are the second line of defense against an out of control Fedzilla. THEY NEED TO SPEAK UP.
We should strip the FBI of all police powers. Keep the FBI as an investigation service. They can pass findings off to individual states for enforcement. COS to the rescue?
The Roman Republic pretty much died when Casar was assassinated. The head of state became an emperor after that. What will be the thing that breaks this once great republic in name only (RINO).
Uh ... As the Governor of Florida, he kind of has a few other responsibilities besides saying what you want him to say.
That is the cult that does that. Kind of like rock band groupies, a small but vociferous segment of a band’s following that unfortunately, pull hair and scratch like girls if someone says something critical about the playing.
Odd that RDS can’t seem to say the name “Trump” though.
“Sundance” at “The Conservative Treehouse” thinks RDS is being groomed by the “let’s play nice” wing of the GOP so they can push Trump out.
