If open primaries didn't make any difference, you and your Dem and RINO pals wouldn't be fighting so hard for open primaries.
Closed primaries almost always guarantee a conservative candidate wins the primaries.
Main reason the anti Trump RINOS are getting clobbered but good in the GOP primaries this year.
