GREAT IDEA !!!

Had a number of veterans who taught at my high school in the 50’s.

NONE of them took any back talk from a student.

We didn’t have many who would do such in the first place, but one large football hero back talked a guy about 5’8” & within seconds-—the student was half way OUT THE 2nd STORY window.

That student behaved after that-—for the rest of the 2 years until graduation.

Nearly all of my male teachers in K-12 became teachers to dodge the draft. In some cases, their mothers, who were teachers, retired in order to make room for their sons.

Funny thing is, they talked openly about this and were even proud of how they gamed the system. Oh, and most of them were Phys Ed. teachers.

Those who don’t take backtalk are summarily “canceled” in the modern age, however.
