One way to defeat speculation would be to have evidence - like the cameras - available to defeat the speculation. At this point Trump & company can just say any evidence of wrongdoing reported by the FBI was planted by corrupt agents themselves. Under the “reasonable doubt” standard a jury would be compelled to acknowledge that possibility. It’s really hard for me to understand why anyone on the side of truth and honesty would want cameras turned off. It stinks to high heaven.
Where's the fun in that?
That is a good point. Trump should be entitled to accurate chain of custody evidence, and it could not be provided, based on the reports of how the raid was conducted.
They wanted the cameras turned off, but they were not turned off. I wonder if the FIBbers knew what they were doing was caught on film?
