McConnell would have looked more principled by remaining silent. His “late and limp” statement Tuesday evening only proves he knows he made a mistake not commenting earlier.

If the administration (as they claim) did not know then everyone involved should be fired and prosecuted for “depravation of civil rights under color of law”

As should happen to any rogue cops

But, you see, this abuse happened to Donald Trump, and Mitch McConnell doesn’t like Donald Trump, so what’s the big deal?

McConnell and his wife are also up to their eyeballs in financial shenanigans. He knows if the DOJ/FBI wants to, they can take him out at any time. They have him on a leash.

The FBI was spying on Trump, again.

The raid was generated by FBI source.
The raid apparently didn’t find anything. Safe empty.
They looked into things they shouldn’t, because they were looking for incriminating SPYGATE documents.
People say they didn’t know are lying, because the root of the raid was illegal use of government assets for POLITICAL SPYING.

The entire story is that McConnell, Biden, the FBI, NSA, are involved in government assisted illegal political spying. Yes, I believe McConnell was in on it too. Yes, I think Trump knew and set them up.

That’s my take on all of it.

Again, McConnell forgets that he represents the leadership of the Republican states in Congress. Instead, he acts as though his personal feelings are the most important thing.

We need fresh leadership in the Senate.

I'll also point out that I was the first to call out McConnell for his silence at 12:56pm on Tuesday, well before anybody at Breitbart, Fox News, or Mark Levin.

Remember that Denny Hastert even spoke out against the FBI raiding William Jefferson's (D-LA) Congressional office when they found $90,000 in cash in Jefferson's regrigerator.

"It is the duty of the Justice Department to root out and prosecute corruption wherever it is found, including in the U.S. House of Representatives. I believe that all Members of the House should cooperate fully with any criminal investigation.

"That being said, I am very concerned about the necessity of a Saturday night raid on Congressman Jefferson's Capitol Hill Office in pursuit of information that was already under subpoena and at a time when those subpoenas are still pending and all the documents that have been subpoenaed were being preserved..."

One would think that Mitch McConnell could at least muster enough courage to make a similar statement about President Trump, but I guess he hates Trump that much.
So, according to Fox News, Mitch McConnell made his first statement about the raid today.

When he was approached by reporters while touring flood damage in Kentucky, McConnell said (in paraphrase):

"I'm here to view the flood damage in Kentucky. We're not going to talk about that today."
There it is... the first comment by the minority leader in the Senate was a "no comment."
I played back the segment where Sandra Smith reported the McConnell comment. He basically said:

"We're here to talk about the flood damage in Kentucky."
He didn't say "We're not going to talk about that today."

His comment was still a "no comment."

McConnell, no doubt, knew about and was cheering on the FBI raid.
