I tell him that just like the moon lander, it was designed with slide rules, drawn on vellum with pencil, and manufactured by high school graduates on manually controlled machine tools.

I know of some Catalytic Converters manufactured in and around 1990 that had on the order of $35 bucks of Palladium in them.
At 20x now that would be $750 bucks of palladium in each Converter that one could find. I won’t say which vehicles those might have been.
And there will be in all car bodies to meet the upcoming Brandon Mileage Standards.

Yes, Aldi was out of the individual bottled waters a few weeks ago, so I was able to get jugs. It’s good to store a few of those, anyway. God help us going forward.
