The thing is, the timing of this couldn’t be worse for Biden. He had the momentum, there was validity to what they were saying about him having the best few weeks of his Presidency.
Which is why I think some Republicans were the big pushers for this.
Trump’s administration 2017 - 2021 is prima facie evidence that the Deep State operates without regard to the elected givernment. In fact, when many of Trump’s appointees were in the approval process, the demonkkraps in the Senate were out in the open about it - getting certain appointees (e.g. AG) to state that they effectively would operate independently of the elected POTUS.
Demonkkraps in charge don’t have to operate that way, ask bagmen for obozo - holder, lerner, comey, and many others. In addition, the agencies are filled with fellow leftist, lifetime job, demonkkrap voting wokers - fellow travelers. They all “knew” what obozo needed done, they didn’t need it in writing, did not need to be told, and they carried out obozo’s orders including spying on Trump, without obozo ever unttering a word.
What is different here is that Xiden is not in charge - he is a mannequin in the window - because of his declining mental and physical deficiencies. So the Deep State “knows” what Xiden would do if Xiden was actually present in the moment - and they are doing it.
