Good point. If they had only studied physics instead of poly sci they would know how tremendous the losses are with every charge and discharge. And every conversion of energy from one form to another. If they only knew how un-green their green policies were. I wish someone would tell them.

That's what they do. They call you names and just go on BELIEVING.
The only part of the electric car scam that is any good is the electric motor. Electric motors are very efficient. Building the battery and getting the electricity into the battery are inefficient and dirty.
As you stated, there is always a loss with any conversion of energy from one form to another.
I can’t tell you how many times I have said to the engineers at my last job. “Let’s take a look at my high school physics book”.
If they would go back to high school science & physics..and maybe even look at brief early American experiments with EVs, maybe they would know better. Conversion of energy always incurs losses. EVs are going to prove very unreliable in winter.
Real scientists who stand up to left wing bullies lose their funding, grants and positions. It’s a scam - but until enough people grow backbones it’ll continue.
