I drink, or I carry, but never both. A very positive habit I brought with me from my career as a cop. They do not mix well. And I’m afraid pot is gonna be a no-no for ccw folks until it’s legal at the federal level. But it’s still not a good idea, even if it is legal.

Basically that people trust big pharma without questioning and wasn’t it MSM who told you how bad MJ is?
Seems like big pharma & search engines working hard to scrub my BP research from 3-4 years ago. Most now claim it’s only synthetically derived from snake venom ~ either way it has many nasty side effects.
Here are some interesting related links:

Actually there was no constitutional right for making any/all plant based medicines illegal - see the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms) from the 1930’s. Also nothing constitutional about ATF nor over 80% of our other federal gov depts & agencies.
Now for your own edification how about trying to research and answer some of the questions I asked?
Are you concerned when you hear how many vets are using MJ?
You shouldn’t be simply because MJ helps for people with PTSD or even too many concussion-type events.
Both PTSD & concussions affect non-vets too. From my own experience people who suffer from multiple concussions are more likely to engage in risky behaviors and more likely to suffer more concussions (appears they are more accident prone and less likely to be cautious in risk taking).
How about MJ treatment primarily in children for epilepsy? Could this be concussion related like climbing/falling out of the crib or down the stairs. Could it be related to shaken baby symptoms?
No o, but we it’s well within the role of government to legislate things as an unacceptable risk to others.
Look a the 2A. Can’t lawfully shoot in city limits etc. Unreasonable restriction or reasonable?
Can’t drink and drive, can’t toke and drive. Let’s keep this in the bounds of the issue.

Who didn’t see this coming??
So if you’re sick, weak and live alone, you are not allowed to protect yourself? I truly hate these people.
As a combat veteran who has suffered TBI and other physical injuries, I know what goes on.
I deal with my stuff not by intoxication or numbing, but but accepting the reality of it and moving forward.
I live among PTSD and TBI and other more visibly wounded men. Those that are wallowing are mostly the exception, the rule is we go hunt fish, shoot, pray, work, love and thank God that we are were we are and not in the ground or in the psych ward somewhere.
The vast majority ruck up and move out.
Embrace the suck or it eats you alive. Jesus saves.
Back to drugs, firearms and combining the two....
US Census Bureau demanding gun holster companies hand over customer info
The US Department of Commerce Census Bureau is demanding gun holster makers and retailers turn over customers’ order numbers, product descriptions and shipping information, according to letters from the agency obtained by AmmoLand News last month. Those who don’t comply could face fines of up to $10,000.
