If you feel the raid on Mar-a-Lago was a travesty, just wait until you see what the newly expanded IRS does to conservative leaders, organizations and individuals.

I bet the NRA is one of the first targeted by this new, more powerful IRS.

Yes. The IRS is no longer a mere administrative agency backed by Treasury enforcement under federal government. Its growth in size and scope form a literal weaponized paramilitary force with enough ammunition to kill every American many times over.

The bizarre, unfounded expansion of the IRS is, in effect, a scheme to circumvent federal law:

18 U.S. Code ยง 1385 - Use of Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force as posse comitatus

An express exception would be one of the Enforcement Acts passed by Congress after the American Civil War which allowed the President to call up military forces when state authorities are unable or unwilling to suppress violence directed at the constitutional rights of the people.

If allowed to exercise constitutional rights, for example, first amendment rights, the use of certain specified federal military forces to protect and enforce such exercise of rights is a violation of federal law unless state authorities FAIL or are UNWILLING to protect the exercise of such rights.

In sum, an American citizen or legal resident can expect to live free from fear of central government military forces waging violence against them. That includes those citizens who violate federal and state laws, as long as state authorities are prosecuting such violations.

Armed federal IRS agents would need permission from state authorities to use weaponry and force against state residents.

These laws are easily circumvented and underlying arguments convoluted.
