I wonder if these people realize that they are behaving *exactly* as George Carlin described in his “Save the Planet” stand-up rant/comedy routine. “Narrow-minded, unenlightened self-interest” indeed.
Carlin may have gotten a lot of things wrong, but he did get a lot of things right, too.
