These cities have become unlivable places due to dem leniency on criminals and crime which just promotes anarchy. I suppose those who live there don’t mind because they continue to support Dems and their policies.
I used to patrol that area of the city.
The Dunbar Center/School used to be adjacent to a place called McDaniel Glen Apartments. Playboy ranked it one of the worst housing projects in the country years ago. I spent a lot of time there.
Atlanta is an interesting place
The Black Power structure wants to maintain their grip on power. But they also want development and that means white, liberals with money, from out of state.
The development in that city is out of control. It should be a case study of developers being allowed to run rampant with ZERO concern for anything other than slamming up a building and selling it off to a management company. The roads and traffic are indescribably horrendous, to the point where the cops don’t even put on emergency equipment sometimes because there’s no where for anyone to get out of the way.
Anywho, the powers that be still want and need the black folks that helped put them there. And the new Mayor has expressed the need for “affordable housing”’to address keeping black folks in the city.
But that area has been a dump for a long, long time. It’s one of the few that hasn’t quite kept up with the gentrification of the rest of the city.
2ND victim has died according to this article
but not a lot of info at this time.
BREAKING: 2nd victim dies in Atlanta park shooting; child in critical condition
Let me guess...........
So a killer is on the loose and yet not a single description of what the public needs to be on the lookout for?
Bizarre
He’s a “suspect.” Isn’t that enough?
Somebody was “disrespected”?
Watching the 11pm tv news on an Atlanta station last night, every single story was about violent blacks and the havoc they caused. Every story except a report on the three white guys in Brunswick GA in jail for life already now getting sentenced in federal court today for the “hate crime” of defending their neighborhood against Ahmaud Arbury. Not one word from local black leaders on the daily carnage, lots of words on the Brunswick case.
I'll go with "Black male, aged 18-40". How racist of me.
Just playing the odds here. I have not been provided with any specific information. But if it had been a White person, you can absolutely guarantee that would have been mentioned by the media.
We have seen this movie before.
Naw, must have been those Amish “youts”
This will never end because we will never have common-sense enforcement of existing common-sense laws. And we have gotten rid of a lot of common-sense laws.
Death-wish permeates so much of this nation, and its institutions.
As a black person (I’m assuming, given your handle) do you think it would be better for both races if they were separated - each with their own countries? (What Lincoln wanted to do).
Seems to me that at a societal level blacks and whites have never gotten along, why not end this dysfunctional marriage and let each side pursue their destinies in their own countries as they see fit.
I’d be interested in your thoughts.
I dropped the little Google map guy, Pegman, down near the murder scene to take a gander. My instincts were correct.
My wife booked off-airport parking at a Ramada “located 0.9 miles from the airport, with shuttle and 5 Star rating”.
She arrived on Friday to find no shuttle and counted SIX parked cars with smashed windows. Left for on- airport parking immediately.
Atlanta used to be such a nice town back in the mid to late 1960’s
