Yes! I also saw in a recent documentary that we splashed a Japanese mini-sub earlier in the day and THAT notification sat in an inbox somewhere. What a debacle.

YA..get this..the very first success and shots fired in WW2 by the USA was a destroyer getting that sub.

A day before war was declared...or abouts.

Cant remember the name of that destroyer...
