While Oz touted American-made goods, he also criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. That trip was strongly opposed by the Chinese, who claim the island as their own. Oz said he worried China could retaliate by shutting down facilities that make products Americans rely on, such as lithium batteries.

I seem to remember a guy that was President, not too long ago, that took trips around the world to get other countries(South Korea, India and Vietnam) to open facilities so they could start building all those things, instead of the Chinese and created incentives/cut red tape so companies could move or come back to the US.

Can’t remember what happened to him.
