Thank you!

A lot of people like the idea of safe, legal, and RARE, as opposed to “on-demand/substitute for birth control”.

I am split myself on this, in that I understand why rape/incest/real health risk might justify taking a life EARLY. The morality troubles me though. There may be authentic reasons, and local voters should debate and decide the limits. Keep it rare.

Your opinions are your own, as are mine. REM: I doubt God blesses abortion under any circumstances, but that’s my debate.

Hardship case abortions (birth defect, rape, life of mother) represent a teeny tiny portion. Decades ago both Planned Parenthood and Right to Life said it was less than 1. Obviously PP was saying it like "see? everybody gets abortions even for no reason, you can too", while RTL said it like "How horrible abortion is when it's really a matter of convenience, not the life trauma situations the Dims say it is".

I don't know about you, but I don't like a policy of aborting 60+ million babies in my lifetime because of supposedly legitimate 60,000 abortions. The other 59+ million were aborted over just convenience. And even with the "legitimate" abortions, the baby didn't rape the mama but the baby is the only one getting the death penalty for it. Maybe the baby ought to get a no bail release.
