It really is a big deal. Al-Zawahiri was the last of the Al-Qaeda big shots. The US has wanted him dead since 9/11 and it is good they finally got him. I don’t think it helps Biden long term because this is part of a long term effort. Remember Biden was against killing Bin Laden, then Obama ordered the go ahead.
