Russia has said its forces have destroyed two U.S.-made High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, also known as HIMARS, in Ukraine.
The number adds to the four HIMARS launchers that Russia claimed to have destroyed over a two-week period in July.
A "high-precision" strike in Kharkiv took out the systems and killed 53 people, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, a spokesperson for the Russian defense ministry, said in an announcement on Monday, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
"As a result of a high-precision strike in the city of Kharkiv, on the territory of the Ukrainian Energy Machines plant, two American launchers of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems were destroyed," Konashenkov said. "53 Ukrainian nationalists and foreign mercenaries were also destroyed."

LOL, sure that's why Ruskies can't even post one picture of a destroyed HIMAR, but according to you 'most' have been destroyed.
Turkey is expecting payback in the form of support ( or at least not resistance) to its goal of wiping out the border Kurds once and for al,
Sure, using spread spectrum, frequency agile, multi-hopped, pulsed channels. Nearly impossible to direction find, or even detect them in operation in a noisy radio environment.
lite em up and they light you up.
the pipe works both ways
ummm no.
I made a living dfing this stuff
I’m not saying Russia is wrong, but they did make the exact same claim a few weeks ago.
It’s smarter to go for the ammo than the launchers
Once the ammo stocks get kalibrated, or otherwise missiled, not much left for show-and-tell
Define “ installation”
That sounds like a strategy cooked up by a Russian. You know Ukrainians don't know how to drive in fields, or on the dirt, or anything like that. They just stay on the paved roads.
Not so simple with modern NATO hardware. The rockets make turns in flight so there is no way to back calculate the launch point.
Which is why it is unlikely that there are HIMARS systems in that area. The US does not want HIMARS rockets used on targets inside of Russia, and in the Kharkiv area almost all targets are within howitzer range from the Ukrainian front lines.
There have been no reported deep strikes in the Kharkiv area unlike the HIMARS strikes seen in the Donbass and Kherson areas.
“Russia has GLONASS, their own version of our GPS.”
And they probably still have 100+ meter CEP.
Please share what you think you know, as long as it is unclassified. Tell us how you would find such a source.
And yet, those HIMARs and the hitting of ammunition supplies has NOT stopped the Russians from advancing and decimating Ukrainian forces with artillery, etc. yeah?
“The ‘Biden’ administration is now changing its official narrative.
It used to be about ousting Putin crushing Russia, now it’s about pretending to be strong while preparing the public opinion for the inevitable defeat of not so much the Ukraine proper (that war was lost in the first week of the SMO!), but the defeat of the USA and NATO in this conflict.”

you can intercept telemetry, it aint new
The German tanks were built like modern German cars. They weren't serviceable in the field. The Germans sent damaged tanks back to the factory to get rebuilt. The US wasn't shipping Shermans back across the Atlantic to the US to to get rebuilt.
you’ll never know. this stuff is top secret, but not unknown
