I am more careful to not waste food, and to buy less. I eat out the same amount but order a little less food when I do. Spending more on wine 🍷 instead 😀.

There has been a serious shift to “generic” or store brands, and substitution of things like turkey for beef or pork, but don’t kid yourself. Pasta is NOT “white meat”, no matter what your Italian grandmother told you.

And “day old” or expired bread still retains most of its nutrition. Just throw it in the freezer when you get it home.

I could continue to live as before, but I'm taking the current state as a reminder of how difficult things could get, and cutting back in advance. I enjoy reminding myself of how horrible Biden voters have made life for themselves.
