What a ridiculous, BS, misleading headline.
When the story first came out a few days ago, it seems that the new manager has a huge racial chip on her shoulder and was fired from her last gig for causing chaos and dissension related to that chip.
I wonder if the new town manager was qualified or simply hired because of diversity and inclusion, (that has infested our governments and workforce)?

Okay, I was wondering about race in the whole matter. I read several articles and cannot find what the new manager did or is doing that was to blame. Just skin color?
Kenly gonna be sued by both the officers AND the woke town manager. REALLY bad decision to hire her. But, gotta be woke and get the right race, right gender person. Even if it’s clear she’s a loser and has been bounced from her last town

They should do what normal, disaffected, government employees everywhere do - nothing! Be lazy, work slow, do nothing - until you can retire.
The headline is written to make people think they resigned because she is black, but it is Yahoo. They resigned because of her micromanaging everything. She has a history of this too.
The "w" and "B" tell you everything you need to know about who thinks race is an issue and which race they think is superior.

One....why does anybody need a town “manager”? Why not have elected leaders handle the town’s business? They apparently have a mayor so what is this manager even for?
When A sheriff, 5 deputies and 2 town clerks all quite because one outsider comes in and takes over....hmmm. I’m inclined to think its a problem with this one person rather than with 8 people.
We need to hear more evidence before jumping to any conclusions.

There isn’t a lot to go on. The Chief talks about a ‘toxic’ and ‘hostile’ work environment but we have no specifics. For him to reach that conclusion less than two months in then something significant had to happen and it’d be nice to know what it is. He also gives the department being understaffed as a reason, but since the town manager has less than two months on the job it was obviously understaffed before she arrived so why didn’t he quit then?
In less than two months? How?
It's interesting to consider what the narrative would be if all the black employees resigned because of the hiring of a new white manager. Rather than accusing the employees of being racist, the narrative would be that the new white manager must be a racist, and the black employees are resigning because of that.
But it’s ok for leftists AND the press to call Clarence Thomas an Uncle Tom.
